Rated for a flow of 250,000 gpd, Washington Township decided to retrofit 1 basin of its existing SBR process to determine if it could increase capacity and prevent washouts. Over the past 8 months, Nuvoda, with its MOB process has proven to increase capacity, but also eliminate washouts. The goal of the trial is to double the capacity of these SBR’s with Nuvoda’s patented Ballasted Aerobic Granular Sludge Process.
